HRStreamer-24 and HRStreamer-48 (towed 24-/48-channel hydrophone steamers) are deployed in modern high-resolution offshore seismic operations. They are usually aimed at identifying potential geological hazards during drilling, construction of wind farms, pipeline routes, dredging and other tasks arising in the water area.
The design of the streamers allows them to be used as surface or deep observation systems in 2D and 3D modifications.
When processing high-frequency data, it becomes especially important to describe the acquisition layout, i.e. to be capable to calculate the exact position of each receiving point. To improve the accuracy of the coordinates calculation, pressure sensors and inertial navigation system units can be optionally integrated into each streamer, which are used to determine the towing depth and its orientation in space.
Sophisticated design of the HRStreamer, quick-response acceleration-insensitive hydrophones, low-noise preamps with a frequency range of 10÷10 000 Hz and specially designed shielded load-carrying cables with longitudinal sealing ensure both the ease of use and the highest possible quality of the data obtained. The strong polyurethane shell of the active section and the cable shield remain flexible in all weather conditions, do not break down on the deck from UV light, are ideal for seawater and provide excellent maintainability. The neutral filler is safe for the environment, people and is allowed for transportation by any type of transport.
Package contents:Marine (SWS), freshwater (FWS) or deep-water (DWS) sparkers are used as high-frequency sources along with MultiJack energy sources. Data logging is provided by multi-channel high-frequency seismic stations. Specially designed SDW deck winches ensure the safety and convenience of performing descent lifting operations, towing and storage of streamers.
